Linear Accelerator Elekta Synergy Platform
The Elekta Synergy®Platform system is designed for clinics that plan to use the precision and efficiency of true image-guided irradiation. In standard configuration, it is a high-energy linear accelerator with a wide range of photon and electron energies, integrated MLCi2 multileaf collimator, and iViewGT portal imaging system.
Including the X-ray volumetric imaging (XVI) unit brings the system to a new level, with extensive imaging capabilities and improved therapy precision. The design takes into account the possibility of implementing future developments and innovations in radiation therapy. This is achieved through a special platform that allows upgrading, supplementing, and expanding the system configuration up to implementing stereotactic radiation therapy techniques. Already in its initial configuration, the Elekta Synergy Platform system has a full range of functions for conformal patient irradiation, which together with the possibility of improvement, guarantees wide application of the system and prospects for radiation therapy department development.
