  • Elekta IntelliBeam for intelligent high-speed treatment with flexible control point management and single-arc delivery capabilities.
  • Treatment of multiple small SRS targets with a 1 mm virtual leaf width.
  • A large 40 × 40 cm radiation field, allowing coverage of multiple targets while minimizing the need for multiple isocenters or arcs.
  • High-speed MLC (up to 6.5 cm/s) with low leakage, combined with dynamic Y-jaws (up to 9 cm/s) and High Dose Rate Mode (6 FFF: 1400 MU/min; 10 FFF: 2200 MU/min) — enabling SRS/SBRT execution within a standard time slot.

End-to-End Quality Assurance (QA)

Elekta ONE | QA provides a centralized and comprehensive quality control suite for the equipment, automating and simplifying system performance checks:

  • QA validation using the Monte Carlo dose optimization reference algorithm in Elekta ONE | Planning.
  • EPID dosimetry in Elekta ONE | QA for patient-specific QA and in-vivo dosimetry.
  • Elekta ONE | QA powered by ThinkQA: a 3D collapsed cone convolution algorithm for secondary dose verification in IGRT and adaptive workflows.
  • Optional Integral Quality Monitor (IQM) for stereotactic QA and real-time verification.

High-Precision Positioning and Treatment Safety

Elekta Evo includes the HexaPOD Evo RT System, a robotic positioning system with 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) that ensures sub-millimeter accuracy in patient positioning. This level of precision is critical for delivering high-dose fractions in stereotactic protocols, where reproducibility and dose delivery stability requirements are most stringent. The system is also designed to enhance clinical processes and potentially increase departmental capacity.

Water Phantom SunSCAN 3D

SunSCAN 3D — Standardized and High-Precision 3D Scanning

SunSCAN 3D automates the setup process and minimizes the need for tank adjustments, providing fast, stable, and accurate scanning for modern radiotherapy. Thanks to its unique design and intelligent automation, the system enables high-precision measurements with minimal operator effort. Optimized geometry for accurate scanning: the unique cylindrical tank shape and automated setup system ensure rapid and correct positioning for scanning.

Key Advantages:

  • 65 cm scanning range, allowing for a 40 × 40 cm field scan even at an SSD of 100 cm and a depth of 40 cm.
  • Correct detector orientation — the smallest dimension of the detector always measures the beam edge.
  • Minimization of the stem effect and increased measurement accuracy.
  • Enhanced precision for SRS and SBRT: SunSCAN 3D fully meets the requirements of stereotactic programs and ensures high accuracy in dosimetric measurements.

Improved Electronic Resolution:

  • Increases the signal-to-noise ratio by up to 2 times.
  • Ensures smooth scanning.
  • Maintains data integrity.

Ultra-Precise Scanning Parameters:

  • Positioning Accuracy: 0.1 mm throughout the entire tank.
  • Reproducibility: 0.05 mm.
  • Resolution: 0.02 mm.

Ready for Operation in Just 15 Minutes

SunSCAN 3D allows the water phantom to be prepared for operation three times faster than traditional systems.

Simple Setup Process:

  • Position the phantom under the linear accelerator.
  • Fill the tank with water (~7 minutes).
  • Launch the AutoSetup™ automated procedure (~7 minutes).

The automatic leveling system has been developed and refined for over 10 years, guaranteeing the stability and accuracy of every measurement.

Phantom ArcCHECK®

ArcCHECK® — the only detector array specifically designed to detect errors during rotational intensity-modulated radiation therapy. It is the ideal solution for 4D pre-treatment patient QA for IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and MRgRT, including reference linear accelerators Elekta Versa HD, Varian TrueBeam, Elekta Harmony, and specialized systems such as Varian Medical Systems® Halcyon™ and Ethos™ therapy, as well as Accuray® TomoTherapy and Radixact™ systems.

A powerful patient-centric ArcCHECK quality assessment device, recommended by AAPM Task Group 218 for 3D measurement requirements. It measures and correlates gantry angle, absolute dose, and time to identify any potential source of error within the patient volume.

Clinically Relevant Dose and DVH Quality Control

Identify TPS errors. With a single click, compare measured dose points with planned dose points. Review individual control points and user-defined full or sub-arc sections for a detailed overview of passing results, as well as low- and high-dose regions.

MLC Machine Quality Assurance

Additionally, use your ArcCHECK tests for machine QA by evaluating discrepancies between planned and delivered MLC positions and identifying leaves that may require maintenance.

The Gold Standard

ArcCHECK provides reliable plan delivery data and insights into potential errors. Its widespread adoption is driven by:

  • Helical detector grid with 1,386 SunPoint® diode detectors to increase Beam's Eye View (BEV) data density
  • Angular corrections with an accuracy of ±0.5° using the Virtual Inclinometer™
  • Stable irradiation energy (BEV) for all gantry angles, measuring entrance and exit doses at different depths, and indicating potential delivery modeling and TPS errors for high- or low-dose levels
  • Real-time electrometer that measures every pulse

Flexible Dose Measurements for More Rigorous Quality Control

Tissue-equivalent inserts support heterogeneity tests:

  • Inserts include: brain, breast, bone, liver, lung, muscle, adipose, titanium, and water/air
  • MultiPlug™ allows the use of ionization chambers, stereotactic detectors, and film for internal point measurements at any of 25 unique locations
  • CavityPlug™ insert offers simplified isocentric dose measurement without the film and tissue-equivalent features of the MultiPlug insert

Matrix SRS MapCHECK®

SRS MapCHECK® is an advanced system for quality assurance (QA) in stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS/SBRT) that replaces the use of film and eliminates measurement subjectivity. The system provides fast, accurate, and fully digital testing, enhancing patient safety and clinical workflow efficiency.

Backed by numerous scientific publications, SRS MapCHECK has proven its clinical versatility, accuracy, and reliability. The system helps prevent treatment errors across a wide range of radiation delivery systems and stereotactic radiosurgery technologies.

Irradiate from Any Angle

In combination with the StereoPHAN™ phantom, the SRS MapCHECK system utilizes patented angular dependence correction technology, allowing for precise dose measurements regardless of the irradiation angle.

The system automatically accounts for:

  • Angular dependence of detectors
  • Field size
  • Pulse rate

This ensures high measurement accuracy for any delivery geometry.

Flexibility, Speed, and Accuracy

SRS MapCHECK provides accuracy comparable to film dosimetry but is significantly faster and more convenient.

The system effectively detects:

  • Output factor errors
  • MLC errors
  • Grid size errors

This helps avoid the most common sources of error in SRS treatments.

Quality Assurance in Just 10 Minutes

Using SRS MapCHECK significantly simplifies the QA procedure. The process involves only a few steps:

  • Insert the SRS MapCHECK into the StereoPHAN™ phantom
  • Perform the irradiation according to the treatment plan
  • Compare the absolute planar dose with the TPS plan

High Detector Resolution

The SRS MapCHECK diode array features a 2.47 mm detector spacing, providing:

  • 5 detectors in a 5 mm field
  • The ability to measure the smallest clinically used fields

Additional Specifications:

  • Detector resolution: 0.48 mm
  • Patented angular dependence correction
  • High-precision measurement of small fields

This makes the system ideal for the reliable quality control of SRS procedures.
