Leksell Gamma Knife® 4

Leksell Gamma Knife® 4 is designed to meet high radiosurgical treatment requirements in medical facilities with low patient throughput. The system provides highly effective and safe treatment, allowing you to get all the benefits of Gamma Knife at a reasonable price. "Uncompromising adherence to efficiency standards with the ability to improve according to clinical needs."
Gamma Knife radiosurgery is preferred for significant reasons. Gamma Knife intervention is performed in just one procedure and does not require general anesthesia. After a Gamma Knife procedure, patients are typically discharged home the same day or the next day. This saves significant hospitalization costs (compared to open surgical interventions). During the radiosurgical procedure, 196 cobalt-60 gamma ray beams converge with high precision at a given focus on the target. Each individual beam has low intensity and does not affect healthy brain tissue on its way to the target. The beams converge only at the isocenter, where the total radiation dose becomes extremely high. The dose delivered during irradiation is formed using collimators of various sizes and opening individual sectors. The high precision of the Leksell Gamma Knife system, with an accuracy of less than 0.5 mm, makes it possible to direct a high radiation dose to the damaged area with minimal risk of damage to healthy tissues.
Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System

The Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System is a modular stereotactic system operating on the center-of-arc principle. The target is always located precisely at the center of the stereotactic arc, regardless of the arc and ring angles.
Leksell Vantage is a modern, next-generation stereotactic system developed by Elekta for high-precision neurosurgery. It ensures maximum positioning accuracy during intracranial procedures, including biopsies, radiosurgery, and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
High Precision: Sub-millimeter localization accuracy, optimized coordinate system geometry, and robust MRI and CT compatibility.
Enhanced Patient Comfort: Ergonomic frame design, reduced cranial pressure, and rapid, stable fixation.
Compatibility with Modern Technologies: Integration with neuronavigation systems, support for 3D procedure planning, and compatibility with radiosurgical platforms.

Brain Mapping

Elekta is a leading company in neurology and neurosurgery. Elekta meets the highest demands of specialists in neurology and neurosurgery. Building on more than 50 years of experience in stereotaxy, Elekta continues to discover qualitatively new solutions for stereotactic treatment of brain pathologies. For this purpose, to track areas of activity in the brain, Elekta offers a magnetoencephalography (MEG) system, which is currently the most effective method for studying brain activity in real time. Compared to EEG, MEG technology has unique sensitivity. The clinical advantage of MEG as a tool that provides the highest efficiency in diagnosing epilepsy has been proven. This technology is also used for preoperative mapping of visual, auditory, somatosensory, and motor areas of the cerebral cortex. For real-time mapping of brain neuron activity, Elekta offers a unique magnetoencephalography (MEG) system - Elekta Neuromag®.
Elekta Neuromag® brain mapping is a magnetoencephalographic (MEG) system designed for high-precision 3D mapping of brain structures in real time (non-invasively). MEG technology is used for both clinical and research purposes. Presurgical mapping for neurosurgery, combined with MEG and MRI images, improves the accuracy of surgical navigation and radiotherapy planning. Many programs are aimed at applications in psychiatric diseases (schizophrenia, depression, dyslexia). One of the most important applications of Elekta Neuromag® in epilepsy treatment is the precise identification of the epileptic source and its location relative to other functionally important areas of the cerebral cortex. Technically, the Elekta Neuromag® system is one of the most complex and advanced MEG/EEG devices on the world market today. A 306-channel system with an optimal combination of planar gradiometers and magnetometers in orthogonal triplets.
MEG technology is used for both clinical and research purposes. The use of 306 magnetoencephalographic (MEG) and 64 electroencephalographic (EEG) channels provides highly accurate localization of functional areas of the cerebral cortex. The unique sensor design and use of advanced software allows obtaining data with unprecedented detail even from the deepest brain regions.
